Wow! What a fast and furious summer! Hard to believe that school begins next week. The anticipation of the end of summer is in the air. Freeman Pharmacy is busy handing out free school supplies to all the littles in town. New backpacks; nervous parents and children; excited parents and kids; educators getting ready for the new school year…so much new on the horizon. 

The Librarian is always sad when the kids go back to school. The Library becomes much quieter! Don’t forget that we are open on Wednesdays after school until 6:00 p.m. And Martin the Mouse will be hanging around just waiting to see you! We have several books from the Battle of the Books list. And we have lots of series as well as stand-alone chapter books for 3rd grade to young adult. Of course, lots and lots of books for littles and young school age. We also have a great selection of “I Can Read” books for beginning readers.

Our hours are the same:  

Tuesday     10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. 

Wednesday 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Friday   10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

We are looking forward to having story time at the Library beginning Wednesday, September 8 at 10:30 a.m. We will begin with the first Wednesday of each month. More information will be coming soon!
